Unlike individual tax returns, business and nonprofit engagements begin with a discovery consultation. This allows Major CPA to properly understand the entity structure, accounting records, prior filings, compliance status, and overall tax complexity before accepting an engagement.
-
Review entity structure
-
Review prior year filings
-
Discuss bookkeeping and accounting records
-

Discovery Consultation Terms & Conditions
1
No Engagement Created
Scheduling or completing a discovery consultation does not establish a client-accountant relationship for tax preparation services. An engagement will only be created once a formal service agreement is issued, signed, and the engagement fee is paid.
2
Consultation Fee
The $250 discovery consultation fee covers the time spent reviewing the client's situation and providing professional guidance. If the client proceeds with services, the fee will be credited toward the engagement fee.
3
No Guarantee of Representation
Major CPA Tax & Accounting Services PLLC reserves the right to decline engagements if the requested services fall outside the firm's scope or if sufficient information is not provided to complete the work.
4
Professional Advice Disclaimer
Information discussed during the consultation is based on preliminary information provided by the client. Final tax advice or conclusions may change after full documentation and records are reviewed.
5
Scheduling Confirmation
By scheduling the discovery consultation, the client acknowledges and agrees to these consultation terms.
